A Different Kind of Holiday

I am up and about to leave for seminary ~ a 2.5 hour drive ~ and my 10:00 am class.

In the dream I was having when the alarm went off, our family and
Katie's family and Joey's family and Sarah's family were in a cabin in the snowy Colorado Rockies, having a loud and joyful Christmas Dinner together at 7:00 am because we all had to leave for the airport by 8:00 am to fly to Florida.

All of us. ALL of our children were with us.

Oh my goodness...what a beautiful dream. I can't even imagine how that must have felt. It's a message from Heaven to us all, through you, and my heart is so, so touched. Thanks for getting that on a post before your long drive and long day at seminary. I can't wait for that day when we all sit down together with our children and have a meal.
Blessings on you, GG, and big hugs.

OMGosh...thank you for sharing this here! Wow. What a dream! I will carry it with me today...and for many days.
It feels true. It must be true. It will be true. It is true. Time beyond time, worlds beyond this world, love beyond love, as we know it.
Thank You, thank You, thank You LORD, and thank you, GG! I hope it made you as happy as it makes me, and I hope you have a great day at seminary.

I have had 4 such dreams in the 20+ years since my oldest son died. Each one has been such a joy. In a couple, we have exchanged comments, and always, he looks just as if he would look in peak physical condition and as an adult. I have had another blessing in the person of Jonathon Frakes, an officer, Ryker, under the captain of the Star Trek Enterprise TV series. He looked much like my son, and I have watched him age and felt that Jeff might have looked so today. My girls always say, "Mom,you are so sick" but that is ok. We mothers take those things where we can get them. Comfort to you, kdip
