I still wish. And wouldn't you know that, while I couldn't find a performance by Joni, I did find one by Allison Crowe, she of my favorite Hallelujah cover.

Sarah McLauchlan does a cover of it on her Christmas album - makes me cry every time.
Wish I could skate away, too. Filled with dread but know I have to push through the holidays and everything else. Praying for grace and strength, for me, for you, for all of us who are struggling with a new kind of life.
I skated away from everything in my life but God on Friday. while there my Ipod gave me this song as done by Herbie Hancock.
